Electrical

Can we use our own power-supplies or LED Drivers?
You can only use the LED Drivers provided otherwise all guarantees are void.

What is the maximum distance of wire we can run to the signs?
As standard we supply A-Blades with:
A. 3 metres of transparent cable fixed and sealed into the panel.
B. 1 metre of mains wire as standard.As standard we supply 4 metres total. A-Blade signs therefore have two areas where the wiring lengths can be increased.

A: Transparent Low Voltage Cable
This is sealed inside the A-Blade light injector/s and powers the sign from the LED Driver output.
Max Cable length: ~20metres***
B: Mains wire, this is the LED Drivers Power input.
Max Cable Length: Within practical limits decided by a qualified electrician or sign installer.
The mains side wiring of the signs can be increased at any time by a qualified electrician or sign-installer
with no major restrictions on cable-run length.

^{*** NOTE: It is advisable to increase the length of the transparent low-voltage cable in many instances, as it is safer to run low voltage wiring
than mains wiring. So, if you require more than 3metres of transparent cable, please remember to order extra length at time of purchase.}

General

Can we buy just the lighting part of A-Blade?
BrightCo. currently license the resale of their A-Blade design as completed signs through authorised agents, distributors and resellers only.

Can your A-Blade edge lit signs be illuminated in more than one colour?
A-Blade edge-lit signs are most cost-effective as a monocromatic edge lit sign where the panel designs are decorated and best illuminated in one colour - this is the colour of the LED Lamp chosen.

Do you manufacture colour changing signs?
On request, this is possible but it is a custom-special, not currently part of the standard A-Blade product offering.
NOTE: We offer “mixed” colour configurations at small extra costs. Mixed colour A-Blades allow sign-designers
to mix say red & blue leds to give a pink-red light or blue and cyan to give a fresher-green. Refer to our decoration brochure.

Can we have an A-Blade with a vinyl design on it?
Yes you would actually be purchasing a complete A-Blade sign with “infil decoration”. NOTE: Vinyls are not often used or preferred as a decoration method anyway. Please refer to our decorations brochure in the 1st instance.

What are your standard delivery times for A-Blade Illuminated Signs?
This depends on order type and current production schedules. We typically batch process orders on a weekly basis. A typical 5 sign order will take 10-15 days.

Do you offer a rush-service as my deadline is very tight?
Yes but 1st you will need to contact your A-Blade Agent or Reseller to see if we have a production-slot.

Can you sell us blank A-Blade signs?
Only on request, by agreement. Subject to meeting suitable high volumes and reseller criteria.
